We-Hauled

I'll leave it to one of our students to fill in the details of the experience, but I found the picture from Griffin's blog, so wanted to post it right away.

Peace,
Abram

Very cute video with the Carpenters' 70s hit "Close to You." I am wondering, was that fair use? Fair use is very murky territory, but . . . this was not a parody, and it was not just a portion of the song. Yes I agree that the RIAA is evil and is also shooting themselves in the foot (feet?) by not allowing non-commercial use of copyrighted music. Until the RIAA gets over themselves, there is the option to use background music from creativecommons.org; music from there is licensed such that a non-commercial use such as background music for a YouTube video is allowed (as it should be!)

That is a great question. I (Abram) have been under the impression that youtube has really gone a long way recently to snuff out anything illegal, and typically Saddleback is good about that stuff, so I'd assume it was kosher, but couldn't say for sure.

Abram--leave the shaved heads to the experts, ok? You look like a software company mascot.

Next time, just put down the razor and slowly...back...away.
